CASE STUDY:
One of my friends, who is studying to be a naturopath is very passionate about clean beauty. She is starting the company, smell mae, and reach out to me to create the visual identity system of the brand. As the lead designer on this project, I created her logo and packaging. As the creative strategist on this project, I helped her name her products and provided photographic direction.
The founder of this company L O V E S colour, so I took that note and ran with it. A lot of perfume brands are leaning more minimal in colour and typefaces, so I decided that this was a point where the brand could stand out against competitors. For typefaces, I worked with only Google and Adobe fonts to adhere to the budget.
